Spent yesterday afternoon watching the Wyoming Cowboys beat Fresno State in the New Mexico Bowl in Albuquerque. It went two overtimes and into the prime time slot on ESPN reserved for the next bowl game. I kept watching for Neighbor Brad, who was at the game.
Is it just me or do Christmas cards and letters seem to be later and lagging this year? Are people just cutting back or mailing later or is technology influencing the Christmas card business? I read a blog this morning that would have made a great Christmas letter. Are people just staying up with their friends through blogs and Facebook? We reveal most of our happening on Facebook and depending on the number of friends and the friends' friends, it can spread like water on a table. We'll know by New Year's.

As to Christmas letters arriving later- perhaps in your retirement you have forgotten what a crazy time of year it is.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I do think people are cutting back as well. Most of the early arriving Xmas mail we have received only included a photo card with no personal greeting or letter. Those would be darn easy to get out early, but too me, leave a lot to be desired.
I meant to write "but to me". Please excuse the grammatical error.
