Today is a day of mixed emotions. I am working probably my last state basketball tournament. Those whom I told I'm moving have told me they'll miss me and I do appreciate this. I will enjoy today tremendously. I'll start watching and then running the clock around 9:00 am and I don't know what time I'll get home tonight but for high school basketball junkies like me this is the day we all enjoy. I even have a special shirt provided by the activities association to wear while working a championship game (girls 4-A). I'm also timing a boys consolation game at noon but the championship shirt doesn't go on until the finals begin. What a day!
