Keri, Eric and the grandtwins took me out for Father's Day Friday night but I decided to give myself a Father's Day gift and bought a ticket to the Rockies-Tigers baseball game at Coors Field. Actually I bought a ticket behind homeplate from a scalper and got it for about half price. It was the largest crowd since opening day. The only problem with the seat was I was seated next to a Tiger fan who was bigger than me (I'm not small) on one side and a women who what she lacked in height she made up for in width so it was a tight squeeze. This is the fourth game I have attended this year and the Rockies are 4-0 when I am in the stadium. They should pay me to attend games. Lots of families there. The weather was great-low 70's-and with a win it was an even better evening. As I was leaving, there was a guy holding up a "Jesus Saves" sign. Unfortunately He doesn't pitch for the Rockies as the bullpen is terrible.
Happy "Father's Day" to me. I didn't even have to send a card.
