I lost interest in the "Final Four", not enough upsets besides I'm getting pumped for baseball. The Rockies owners moved the Casper Ghosts to Grand Junction this summer.

We went out to get a sub for supper. The wind is blowing so hard that I thought it would blow me and my walker down the street. I'm no lightweight. It's so dry here we had to water some of the trees. My brother said it rained in Phoenix today and snowed at Flagstaff closing I-40.

Today is a mixed blessing for me. My mother died a year ago today but at age 94, her body was spent and she died of heart failure during the night.

Yesterday, Friday, was a set-back day for me. The plan was to drain as much radioactive material from Thursday 's PT-Scan. It involved consuming pints of water and then staying close to the bathroom. Kathy, Keri and the boys and I had planned to go out for supper. By the time that came I wasn't wandering too far from home and just had a light snack while the other three went out out-probably a good plan.

We are invited to a St. Pat's party tonight so I need to cut back on liquid condumption.

We went to CostCo yesteday afternoon. I used an electric cart. Didn't buy much.

I'm not close to being able to drive.

Yesterday I had a PT-Scan to see if there were any remnants of cancer and whether I would have to have chemo. After meeting with the oncologist, it would appear chemo is not necessary but I will have to have some follow-up tests. There is a 12 percent chance it could come back but with my family history, those are good odds. After the oncologist left the room, I just sat there and cried at the good news. I remain radioactive for the next few days which means I can be around adults but not children.
We went to a meeting for new diabetics yesterday afternoon. I forgot to turn off my cell phone and got two calls. Bad timing.
Kathy will have to set up several appointments as things are starting to roll. I really like my primary care giver which helps.

Went to the deramatologist today. The spots on my temple are "old age spots" or "wisdom spots" which basically says it all. Used my handicapped sticker for the first time which made parking closer.

Every year I pick my favorite TV programs for the past year. Usually I make my list from netflix I watch the following summer.

I'm sure it will change next year. I finally got smart and took my lap top to rehab and watched a coulple discs a week there.

Went to motor vehicles yesterday to get a handicapped sticker. This will make life better when I can drive again. I souped up on of my walker by adding a basket the wife found-maybe racing stripes later.
