This will be poor excuse to explain the last three months of my life. On the Sunday after Thankgiving I woke up in the hospital after having gone into a diabedic coma. I was in restraints as I must have said some awful things to some people as I was doing some apopologies. I was placed in a private ICU room and one day had a "watcher." I don't know if they thought I was suicidal or not but they weren't taking chance. I progress through the hospital system and was sent home. I week or so later I was back in hospital and spent 3 of the worst weeks of my life. I had no bathroom privilages and they didn't care if I soiled the bed. They just cleaned me up and changed the sheets. The food was OK. I finally got out of there and am in Life Care Rehab center. I have a single room with a single shower and toilet. They gave me a walked but I couldn't go anyplace without someone with me. I finally earned an "I" card for my walker which gives my access to most of the building. It beats the hospital but I'm beginning my second month here. No one can figure out why I'm still here. Most of the staff just can't believe it.

I'm so glad to see this post. I began to worry about you in early December and talked with Keri and Sandy Valerio to see what was going on. You've been through a lot and it's good to see that you're doing better. I missed you at Chatfield basketball this season. With the two captains injured just before the first playoff game the JV boys really stepped up and won the game. Could be a good sign for next season.
