After reading about the tornado that went through south Minneapolis, I admitted to my ignorance of and insensitivity to tornadoes and, therefore, I watched the movie Twister last night. In doing so I may become a bit paranoid whenever the wind comes up which is quite often in Wyoming. Maybe I would be better off knowing less.
My daughter writes that this fall is the tenth anniversary of her student teaching in New Zealand. To celebrate the occasion I wore my Sydney Olympics 2000 T-shirt which she brought me as a souvenir of her South Pacific adventures.
