Big bad wolf-part II

If you thought the Red Riding Hood caper was bad for wolves, you should see what's in their future. Since their reintroduction in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming, ranchers have complained about stock losses. Recently wolves went off the endangered species list and now wolf hunting season begins today in Idaho and in a couple of weeks in Montana. Idaho hunters may harvest (?) 220 wolves this fall. The odds for wolves aren't good because over 9,000 wolf licenses were sold in Idaho alone. They weren't concerned about ranchers and livestock; the wolves went after elk and other game animals and that infuriated the hunters.
Wolves came off the endangered species list when it was estimated that their population had exceeded by 10 times the desired number. It just shows that too much sex can be bad for wolves of all kinds-human and animal.
